Fresh from the oven of Avalon Hill, Dungeons & Dragons: The Yawning Portal throws players into the most dangerous adventure they have ever known… food service! Each player will be responsible for their own table, trying to attract and serve as many patrons as possible to win points.
As adventurers come into the tavern, each players tables will get bigger and bigger. Each adventurer requires different orders and dietary restrictions, so make sure you get their order right. Otherwise, you may have a riot on your hands!
Players earn points by correctly matching orders to different adventurers, placing adventurers in special patterns at the table, and for serving special hero patrons! These hero patrons will have unique orders that need to be accomplished as quickly as possible. If you perform the order quickly, you will gain a heroic bonus that will help you get ahead for the rest of the game!
There will also be extra challenges you can perform throughout the game to gain endgame bonuses! Complete as many orders and challenges as possible, and become the Employee of the Month!
